Anthony Bourdain’s Final Days Become More Clear — Photos Surface Of Final Tandem Bike Ride TV Segment Filmed In France For Parts Unknown

We're starting to learn more about Anthony Bourdain's final days, and an image has surfaced that appears to be one of the final pictures ever captured -- if not the final one -- of Bourdain, taken just a day or two before he ultimately died from an apparent suicide.

The picture, posted earlier this week to Instagram, shows Bourdain riding a tandem bicycle with friend and fellow chef Eric Ripert during a filming day for his show Parts Unknown.

The show's crew can be seen in their own tandem bicycle alongside, filming as Eric (at the front of the bike) and Anthony (behind him) ride on along in the town of Colmar, in eastern France (below):

Just two days after this light-hearted, fun-seeming moment, as we previously reported, it was Ripert who found Bourdain dead in his hotel room.

That location is not even an hour away from where this bike ride went down, BTW.

So sad.

R.I.P., Anthony.
