It's official -- Avicii's death certificate has been released by authorities in Oman.
It's all pretty much as you'd expect considering how much we know about the DJ's death and aftermath, but there a few interesting things about it: for one, his date of death is listed as April 8, 1439 (in the Hijri calendar, not the Gregorian calendar, considering the country where he died).
Further more, his religion is listed as Christian of Swedish ancestry.
As we've known for some time now, the talented DJ used a broken glass to cut himself and bleed to death; the gash to his body caused massive bleeding and was ultimately the cause of the 28-year-old's death.
So sad.
