Still don't believe Omarosa Manigault-Newman's claims that Donald Trump is trying to pit races against each other? Well, he literally tried to do just that on one season of The Apprentice.
In an interview with Howard Stern in 2005, the future-president discussed the possibility of producing a season of his NBC reality competition that divided teams into blacks and whites.

Trump admitted he wasn't the one who came up with the concept, but did say it would be "the highest rated show on television."
He told Stern in the audio:
"There was a concept thrown out by some person — nine blacks against nine whites. And it would be nine blacks against nine whites, all highly educated, very smart, strong, beautiful people, right? … Do you like it?"
The radio host replied he did "like" the concept and, later on, asked if the black team would be made up of "very dark blacks or light-skinned blacks."

Trump replied there would be "[an] assortment," and added that there would be "probably nine" blondes on the show.
When Stern asked if the proposed season would "set off a racial war" in the country, Trump explained:
"I don't think — see, actually I don't think it would. I think that it would be handled very beautifully by me."
We have a hard time believing that, seeing as this resurfaced audio comes days after TWO former Apprentice contestants, Omarosa and magician Penn Jillette, accused Trump of saying "racially insensitive things" during production.
