Last-place Devils fire Hynes hours before faceoff

After a bold offseason of acquiring big names, the New Jersey Devils, mired in last place in the Metropolitan Division, fired John Hynes and named Alain Nasreddine interim coach Tuesday, hours before faceoff against the Vegas Golden Knights.
