Opinion: This plan could save Social Security

The new Social Security Board of Trustees report, released earlier this week, makes clear once again that one of the nation's most popular and successful programs is financially unsustainable. We need reform to save Social Security, not to kill it. Fortunately, there's time to do this in a sound and equitable manner if policymakers act sooner rather than later.
